The sweat will soak through from your arm to the top of the strap, staining it in no time.</span><br /><br /></span><div style="text-align: center;font-family:trebuchet ms;"><span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;" ><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Solution</span></span><br /></div><span style="font-size:100%;"><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">Here's where I have invented a strap that's designed to marry the best features of all the above. I embed a sweat-proof layer in the leather itself. This way when you sweat the leather will absorb the sweat, preventing it from pooling between your arm and the watch, but the sweat will not penetrate to the upper surface of the strap, so it won't get stained.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">I make each strap by hand -- measuring and cutting the leather, embedding the sweat-proof layer, punching holes, and saddle stitching. There is not a single other person or any machine that touches the strap. I’m not a leather elf, though; I’m a lawyer in Washington, DC, and because the straps are totally hand made by me, each is slightly different and none is cosmetically perfect. They say that's part of the charm of a handmade product.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">Because it's Patent Pending, this is the only game in town for sweat-proof watch straps. If you know of another watch strap maker that promises the same thing, email me and once I confirm it, I'll give you a discount on a strap.</span><br /></span><span style="font-size:100%;"><br /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(204, 204, 204);font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;" >Why Should I Buy an Esquire Strap?</span><span style="font-size:100%;"><br /></span><div style="text-align: left;"><ul style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"><li><span style="font-size:100%;">If you're tired of ruining your leather watch straps by sweating through them, this strap is for you.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:100%;">If you want a strap that's hand made, using high-quality leather that will age nicely, then this strap is for you.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:100%;">If you want a strap that's saddle-stitched the old fashioned way (one piece of thread and two needles) so that it's very strong, then this strap is for you.<br /></span></li><li><span style="font-size:100%;">If you want a strap that won't lose it's sweat-proof qualities, then this strap is for you.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:100%;">If you want a custom made strap, then email me and I'll make you one.</span></li></ul><span style="font-family:verdana;">My current daily wear strap is a vintage saddlehorn leather on titanium/tobacco Panerai.</span><br /><a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v311/ecox/?action=view&current=DSC07691.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v311/ecox/DSC07691.jpg" alt="Photobucket" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" >Does it Work???</span><br /></div><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">Yes!
